Watch Modding
Going Back in time digital to analog
Easy Money
Watch community is different, people always prefer old fashion look to a time piece.
Right now there is a small community that mods cheap looking digital watches to look like AP Royal Oaks.
I know this may be insulting to watch enthusiast, but there is a community that wants to look rich without paying the premium for it.
The sad thing is most watch enthusiasts wouldn’t know if the watch is a real Royal Oak or not. They will literally need to disassemble the watch to inspect the hardware to know if it’s legitimate.
Business?
So how can you make money off of this situation?
You can learn tutorials on the internet to switch the bands and the time stamps. It is surprisingly simple to switch out the shells and people charge hundred per a mod, which will generally cost more than the watch.
You will need a Kit to make all this possible, as you can really use conventional Philips screwdrivers to make this work.
This type of side hustle is good for the main reason that you can learn this fast, charge more than the value of the watch you’re modding, and you can do this from the comfort of your own home.
I would suggest you build a website to get appointments and clients to connect with you via Squarespace. The whole goal of working from home is to make things flexible with a website.
