Make Money Delivering Medical Stuff

Make better money than Uber just transporting medical items

Medical Delivery

Instead of delivery people you can deliver medical supplies. You may think how come hospitals don’t have their own delivery system? The way hospital works is that they work with other labs that are in a different location and they needed a guy that’s tired of driving for Uber to deliver the goods.

Some cases hospitals and labs are separate company and no one wants to pay for their own in-house delivery company, they hire a third party to do the logistics.

Medical delivery is a hidden gem, people don’t seem to realize how good of a side hustle it is. You can choose your own schedule much like Uber, and these companies pays you per delivery or hourly system. I’ve looked into per delivery system and companies expect you to operate a SUV or bigger vehicle.

What Are The Requirements?

Cars are expected to be relatively new, some companies expect within 10 years, and some within 15, you just have to look when you submit your vehicle information. This is mostly due to the company that wants a reputation for being new and up to date, and the drivers are the presentation of the company. Sorry if you’re still driving a Datsun.

You generally need to be over 21, I only found one company that will hire a 18 year old. I personally don’t understand why being 18 would have a negative effect on delivery.

You will need a clean driving record, to prove that you will safely deliver medical items, patient specimens are time sensitive, if you get in a accident, it may sum up unnecessary delays, and you will still get paid, but it will be your last paycheck if the rules are strict.

You will need Hippa and Bloodborne handling cert, luckily these delivery company will pay for your certs and you can use these certs to apply to other delivery companies..

Conclusion

So why people still choose Ubereats over medical delivery? It’s because they don’t know about this. So if you have friends that are hating their Ubereats career, tell them about this, by sending them a link to this newsletter, and free them from the shackles of waiting on some entitled person’s doorstep, while they get a ticket.

Short Ubereats story

I met a ubereats driver that refused to deliver to hospital because one time he brought food to a hospital with the instructions of entering a back door. Since the place is a hospital, doors are randomly locked up and requires a keycard to enter. After 2 minutes of waiting he leaves the food on the floor and walks away because the instruction delivery says he can do so. The nurse opens the door and and shouted at him, and asked why he leave the food on the door floor. He told her that’s the instruction on the app, the nurse looked discombobulated and embarrassed. She tied her arms like a shoelace and demands he walk over, pick it up, and hand it to her. He laughed and walked away, and she issued a refund for not delivering food.
