Is SEO Still Worth It?
Worth the Gamble?
Due to recent update on SEO effectiveness of SEO is in question. For the longest time there has been a set rule for optimizing SEO to gain traction to a website.
A basic approach to implementing good SEO would be to provide good content, have good structure, flexible design and UI, backlinks, page speed, and removing low quality content.
Good content involves implementing good search term that involves strong search intent, repeating easy to search keywords throughout your content.
Design makes the content easy to view from desktop, tablet, and mobile phones.
Backlinks is when you link relevant sources to your content.
Page Speed can be improved by removing useless JS and CSS from your site, so your page can load faster.
At August Google made updates that alters the way SEO will be optimized. SEO specialists are also complaining about how these SEO rules may affect the business game.
Simply said with the recent update Google is reinventing the SEO to deal with AI. Since the introduction of AI, a new variation of content is implemented.
Since Ai is a form of automation with work, people will abuse it to spam content and increase ranking in the search result. Google basically made updates to prevent spammers from wreaking havoc on the internet with empty content.
Also SEO experts are complaining because they hate change. Like most people they hate when they have to learn a new skill to adapt to current climates.
Right now if you ask Google a question Google will answer with AI overview, so old-school SEO experts has to work with AI algorithms.
The SEO maniacs that were spamming Ai generated content is butthurt they can’t abuse the loophole anymore.
Lots of negative feedback to this update, and they are calling this the end of SEO.
Which begs the question, is SEO dead?
No, it’s just different. Look online for SEO services, people are still providing it, and are making a killing from it.
Ahrefs is still trying to sell his SEO tool, the methodology is basically the same. Just a bunch of complaining.
I would say now is the best time to start your SEO business, because a lot of people are too lazy to learn about AI, and have made enough money to throw all this into the bin instead of learning new technology.
So you should start your business with Squarespace, so you can start your own SEO business while the old guys leave and enjoy their retirement.
