Brandon And Carter Cleaning Business After Layoff
Rely On Yourself For Employment
Brandon and Carter were both normal career folks, until they got laid off from the companies that don’t care about their well-being. This occurred during the pandemic, where everyone was at risk of getting laid off.
They didn’t have an idea as to what to do, so they just started their cleaning business called Pink’s Windows.
They chose cleaning because it lucrative, competition was low, because everyone is obsessed about online businesses, so the quality of the cleaning services went down as of result.
The exterior cleaning businesses I know does a basic job, they spray the windows, flush the gutters, mow lawn and sweep trash. There is a lot of details that they miss, and are not willing to do, and yet, they’re comfortable charging a premium price for it.
These guys took a basic idea and made it better, by cleaning home exteriors. cleaning and squeegeeing windows, flushing and scrubbing for gutters, mowing and raking, sweep trash on the property and sidewalk.
They go above and beyond, and as of result, they dominated the cleaning industry in their city by being the most competitive.
initially they cleaned for free to get the word of mouth going. It may seem like a foolish idea cleaning for free, but people end up paying them on their first job that they agreed to do for free.
They also advertise by offering to clean a business for free once a month, so they may park their van with the logo and advertisement in a high visibility area for free. This method is nicknamed parketing, very clever.
By working for free at a business for 1 hour a month, they gained a 7% boost in revenue.
They may look like some brawny bros, but they’re pretty clever. They were laid off from these corporate jobs that are suppose to have a lot of security. Realizing that they won’t get another job because of the declining economy at the time, they went to pursue a business.
These guys are apparently not tech savvy at all, but they built their website better than most people, and it turns out to be Squarespace, quality made simple.
