Thanks to all that competition, cleaning has took a fall, and is now open for newcomers. Just look at the unusual spawn rate of new cleaning related businesses in the past 2 and half months.

You can’t argue the numbers. Ever since the Pandemic occurred, physical service shut down because people don’t want contact with strangers. The event also caused corporate workers to get laid off, because companies don’t care about your well-being.

These companies owned by massive billionaires much rather get rid of dead weight being you, instead of shelling off 10% of their money to retain you when times get hard.

Personally I don’t have anything against these business owners. These self-made billionaires earned their keep, and people agreed to work with them.

I just don’t like how they think they’re doing people a favor by hiring them, when in reality it’s just a fair trade. For examples, I as a employee keep 5 percent of what I make for you, and you as the business owner can keep the 95%, but deal with the business after work hours. Just don’t gaslight me.

Too early to Judge?

I know usually you start this list at the end of the year, but it’s past the halfway point since early August. It’s apparent that no digital-based business will beat cleaning anytime soon. It will take a miracle for cleaning to become inferior to digital business again.

Literally something ridiculous has to happen, like government banning cleaning businesses from operating.

Should You Start Your Cleaning Business?

Right now might be a good idea to start. Rocha with his cleaning business is flexible, he works before and after his main job at Monday, Wednesday, Friday.

Sure it’s not as flexible as a digital business, but the guy spends about 6 hours on operation per a week, that is less time spent than 90 percent of people with online businesses.

you would think it’s exhausting, but it is refreshing, you’ll be surprise that moving around after a shift at your office will wake you up and feel less exhausted.

How to start?

You should first pick your niche. It can be specifically gutter, pressure cleaning, yard work, in-house, exterior. You can do it all if you want.

Being a general all-in-one cleaner doesn’t equate to more money, because marketing would go against that. Everyone believes that being a all-in-one cleaner that does everything makes the most money as well, but during the marketing process, you’re selling yourself the same as everyone else.

Ideally if you are fresh, you should just pick one niche and target that one thing, and then branch out to other things when you have more resources.

Can You Fail?

Any business can result in failure. Depending on the type of failure(yes there are more than one type of failure), your success is generally dictated by how hard you try. For something as lucrative as cleaning, your chances of failure is relatively low, compared to most businesses.

You are offering a real service, not some online comfort. I know people personally, that are making minimum wage, are willing to shell out a quarter of their monthly wage to keep their living quarters clean.

After the pandemic, cleaning services that was afraid of risk shut down. Covid was a hot mess and claimed some lives, but when your livelihood is on the line, you have to work.

What’s Stopping You?

Guaranteed if you don’t have children, odds are you have about 6 hours of free time on your workdays, you can easily pull 2 jobs out of your time after work. I knew a guy that is working 2 jobs while having a newborn. If you have no kids, you have no excuse.

A bunch of people left the cleaning industry out of impulsive fear for the pandemic. It’s like boomers just mindlessly sold all their real estate and housing prices are back down to 200k per a piece.
